Start-up sequence of stainless steel centrifugal pump:

1. Check the oil level of the suspension oil storage chamber of the centrifugal pump and control it at about 2mm of the centerline of the oil level meter.

2. Check whether the rotation direction of the motor is correct, and reversal is strictly prohibited.

3. Turn the coupling by hand, feel loose and even, and pay attention to distinguish whether there is a noise such as friction sound and foreign body rolling in the pump, if so, try to eliminate it, and install the protective cover of the coupling.


4. When the installation position of the pump is below the liquid level, the gate valve of the suction line should be opened before start-up to make the liquid fill the pump; if the installation position of the pump is higher than the liquid level, pump or vacuum should be filled before start-up, so that the pump and the pipe are filled with liquid and drain the air in the pump.


5. Open the inlet valve, close the outlet pipeline gate valve, start the motor (click first, make sure that the pump rotates in the correct direction before officially running), open the inlet and outlet pressure gauge, and slowly open the outlet pipeline gate valve to the desired position.

6. the temperature rise of the pump and motor should be checked frequently. The temperature rise of the bearing is not more than 35 ℃, and the limit temperature should not be more than 75 ℃.

7. Pay attention to the change of the oil level of the suspension oil storage chamber, which is often controlled within the prescribed range. In order to keep the oil clean and well lubricated, the new oil should be replaced regularly according to the actual situation used in the field. In general, after each operation of 1500hr, all the new oil should be changed once.

8. In the course of operation, when abnormal sound or other faults are found, you should stop and check immediately and continue to operate after troubleshooting. Never use the gate valve on the suction line to adjust the flow to avoid cavitation.

9. The stainless steel centrifugal pump is generally not suitable for long-term operation under the design flow rate of less than 30%. If it must be used under this condition, a bypass pipe should be installed on the outlet pipeline to make the flow of the pump reach the prescribed range of use.
