一、Material: Highly corrosion resistant, suitable for use with concentrated sulfuric acid.

Material is fundamental to dealing with highly corrosive working conditions. The key is to select special stainless steel material that is resistant to sulfuric acid corrosion, so as to prevent the equipment from being corroded and damaged from the source.

1.Main material selection: The mainstream choice is 316L stainless steel or duplex stainless steel. 316L contains molybdenum, which can significantly improve the corrosion resistance to dilute and concentrated sulfuric acid (concentration 50%-98%), and is especially suitable for sulfuric acid transportation at room temperature to medium temperature (≤120℃). Duplex stainless steel has both austenitic and ferritic structures, and has stronger resistance to local corrosion (such as pitting corrosion and crevice corrosion), and can be adapted to higher concentration or concentrated sulfuric acid containing impurities.

2.Strengthening of flow-through components: The impeller, pump body, shaft sleeve and other flow-through components of the pump are all made of the same material by integral casting or precision machining, without welding gaps, to avoid local corrosion and leakage caused by uneven material at the welding points, and to ensure that all components in contact with concentrated sulfuric acid have consistent corrosion resistance.

1.Eliminating the need for traditional mechanical seals: Submersible pumps employ a structure where the motor and pump body are coaxial, with the pump body immersed in the medium, achieving a sealing effect without the need for a shaft seal. In addition to corrosion resistance and sealing performance, the performance design of concentrated sulfuric acid submersible pumps must meet the requirements of "low pulsation, anti-cavitation, and wear resistance" for concentrated sulfuric acid transportation to ensure long-term stable operation.

1.Stable flow rate and head: The closed impeller design and the blade angle optimized by fluid dynamics can reduce the turbulence of concentrated sulfuric acid in the pump, ensuring the stability of flow rate and head, and avoiding sudden changes in pipeline pressure caused by flow fluctuations.

2.Strong resistance to cavitation: The pump inlet is equipped with a flow guide device, which can reduce the medium flow rate, increase the inlet pressure, and reduce the occurrence of cavitation.

3.Wear-resistant design: For concentrated sulfuric acid containing a small amount of impurities, the pump's shaft sleeve, impeller wear ring and other easily worn parts are hardened to increase surface hardness, extend wear life and reduce maintenance frequency.
