High Temperature Resistant Centrifugal Pump Installer
What is the static pressure of the centrifugal pump and how to calculate it?

Every factory will use a variety of pumps, chemical pumps, corrosion-resistant pumps, fluoroplastic pumps and so on. Do you know what is the static pressure of pumping liquid? Today, the editor of TEFLOW came to talk about what is the static pressure of liquid? It refers to the pressure measured by the sensor on the fluid. In the field of centrifugal pump technology, centrifugal pump pressure refers to static pressure. According to EN12723, the pressure of the fluid (pb and PD) can be expressed by absolute pressure, and other pressures can be expressed by gauge pressure (such as pressure calculated from the local atmospheric pressure at that time). The gauge pressure in the vacuum industry refers to the measured relative pressure of the gas, expressed as a negative number.

How to calculate the static pressure of the liquid:

(1) the pressure at the inlet section of the single-stage single-suction centrifugal pump (Ps). The pressure calculated from the pressure at this elevation (zs).

(2) the pressure at the outlet section of the centrifugal pump (Pd). The pressure calculated from the pressure at this elevation (zd).

(3) the pressure at the pressure gauge at the inlet section of the centrifugal pump (Psm). Measure the pressure of the pressure gauge in the pipe filled with liquid. Measurement of liquid filling: Ps=psm+pgzs,m. ρ-- measure the liquid density in the pipe gMurt-gravity acceleration zs,m-- centrifugal pump inlet section pressure gauge center height and the height of the measuring point is filled with gas to measure the pressure of the pressure gauge in the pipe: Ps=Psm.

(4) equal to the pressure in the pressure gauge at the outlet section of the centrifugal pump (Pdm).

1 the pressure at the inlet section of the centrifugal pump (p). The pressure calculated from the pressure at the entrance section (Aa) of this elevation (za) (Ae).

(2) the pressure at the outlet section of the centrifugal pump (pa). The pressure calculated from the pressure at the exit section (Aa) of this elevation (za).

(3) the air pressure in the place where the centrifugal pump is installed (PD).

(4) the saturated vapor pressure (PD) of the fluid. It refers to the absolute pressure at which the fluid evaporates at the temperature at the inlet cross section of the centrifugal pump.
