What is the speed ratio of a centrifugal pump?

The speed ratio of a centrifugal pump refers to the frequency at which the pump shaft rotates in a unit time. Public n stands for Enterprise:r/min. The usual centrifugal pump has the increase of 2900r/min or 1450r/min, while the large centrifugal pump has 970r/min or 730r/min. When the speed ratio is fixed, the total flow rate, pump head and output power are all fixed. The speed ratio of centrifugal pump is the difference between 1450r/min and 2900r/min. The speed ratio of the pump refers to the speed per decibel of the centrifugal shaft of the pump. The speed ratio represented by the mark n refers to the speed per minute of the centrifugal pump shaft when the engine pushes the centrifugal pump, expressed as n, in units of r/min.

Usually when we use a centrifugal pump, there are generally two cases of centrifugal pump speed ratio: one is 1450r/min, the other is 2900r/min. Centrifugal pump speed ratio is 1450r/min or 2900r/min, what's the difference?



1. 1450r/min centrifugal pumps are generally low-lift, high-flow centrifugal pumps choose four-stage low-speed ratio motor, while 2900r/min centrifugal pumps use high-lift, high-speed rotating secondary motor.

2. in the case of the prescribed total flow rate and pump head of the centrifugal pump, the noise of the low speed ratio centrifugal pump in the long-term operation of the total flow rate and pump head is lower than that of the high-speed rotary centrifugal pump. Compared with the high speed rotating centrifugal pump, the centrifugal impeller of the low speed centrifugal pump has better wear resistance and less vibration to the road surface.

3. under the condition that the total flow rate of the centrifugal pump and the pump head are the same, the price of the low speed centrifugal pump is higher than that of the ordinary centrifugal pump. The reason is that the copper core wire of the fourth-stage motor is more than that of the secondary motor.

4.from the level of the design scheme, the centrifugal pump with high speed rotation is more efficient than the pump with low speed ratio.
